Shoe Care Instructions
Canvas an other fabrics
Machine wash in cool to warm water
- Do not bleach, or use detergents or pre-spotting agents with chlorine additive..
- This may cause yellow discoloration and weaken the fabric.
- Dry white and light color shoes in a dryer or other heated area to prevent discoloration. Other colors can be air dried regulary.
Suede (including canvas styles with leather or suede trim)
- Treat clean, dry suede shoe with waterproofing products
- Clean by gentle brushing witth a fine wire brush
- Spot clean soiled surfaces with suede cleaner. Do not saturate, test in inconspious area before proceeding further
- Dry slowly away from a heat surface (stuffing damp shoes with tissue wll help the shoe maintain it's shape).
Velvet, corduroy, tapestry, brocade, barkcloth, wool and felt
- Hand wash in cool to warm water. Use cold water for wool and felt.
- Do not bleach, or use detergents or pr-softening agents with chlorine additive, this may weaken the fabric.
- Air dry shoes (stuffing damp shoes with tissue wll help the shoe maintain it's shape).
Embossed velvet
- Do not use water. Clean only with dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate.
- After cleaning, brush the fabric to restore appearance.
